Optics ready plates for Tanfoglio models

This collection contains optic plates for Tanfoglio pistols with a factory optic cut. Plates are available for the Stock 2 Optic and the Stock 3 Optic.

Stock 2 Optic: before or after 2022

The Stock 2 Optic made before 2022 and the one made after 2022 need different plates. Check the production year of your pistol. For both versions, Toni System makes two plates:

• Type A for Shield RMSc, Leupold DPP and Docter.
• Type B for Trijicon RMR and C-More RTS.

Stock 3 Optic

For the Stock 3 Optic, a plate for the Shield RMSc footprint is available. See Optics ready plates for Tanfoglio Stock 3 Optic.

Installation

Remove the factory cover plate from the optic cut. Screw the optic plate into its place, then screw the red dot onto the plate. No milling is needed and you can do it yourself. Threadlocker on the screws is recommended.

Can I install an optic plate on my Tanfoglio at home?

Yes. You need no gunsmith and no milling.

1. Remove the cover plate from the optic cut.
2. Screw the optic plate into the cut.
3. Screw the red dot onto the plate.

Put a drop of threadlocker on every screw.

Which red dots will fit my Tanfoglio?

It depends on the plate you choose. Every plate takes one footprint or a group of footprints. For Tanfoglio pistols we have plates for the Trijicon RMR, Shield RMSc, Leupold DPP, Docter and C-More RTS footprints.

Choose your red dot first and find its footprint in the specifications. Then take the plate with the same footprint.

Does a post-2022 plate fit my older Stock 2 Optic?

No. The Stock 2 Optic made before 2022 has a different cut. Choose the plate for the production year of your pistol.
