Red dot mounts for CZ models

This collection contains red dot mounts for CZ pistols without a factory optic cut. The mounts replace the rear sight in the dovetail. You need no slide milling and no permanent modifications. Mounts are available for the Shadow 2, TS 2, CZ 75 family, P-07, P-09, P-10 and the Kadet models. If your CZ is an Optics Ready variant, you need an optic plate instead. Which mount fits which CZ model

CZ pistols that look alike do not always share a rear sight dovetail. The mounts are therefore made for model families. Check which family your pistol belongs to:

• Shadow 2 and 75 SP-01 Shadow: most mounts fit both models. They do not fit the Shadow 2 Optics Ready. See Red dot mounts for CZ Shadow 2 and Red dot mounts for CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow.
• Shadow 2 Target: it has its own mounts, made for the TS 2 and Shadow 2 Target. Their titles name both models. See Red dot mounts for CZ Shadow 2 Target.
• TS 2 and 75 Tactical Sport: one mount family fits both. See Red dot mounts for CZ TS 2.
• CZ 75B, P-01 and 75 SP-01: one mount family fits all three. It does not fit the 75 SP-01 Shadow. See Red dot mounts for CZ 75B, CZ 85, CZ 97.
• P-10C, P-10F and P-10S: the mounts fit the P-10F in both 9x19 and .45 ACP. They do not fit the P-10 Optics Ready models. See Red dot mounts for CZ P-10.
• P-07 and P-09: one mount family fits both. See Red dot mounts for CZ P-07, CZ P-09.
• Kadet: one mount fits the Shadow 2 Kadet, 75 SP-01 Kadet and 75 Kadet. See Red dot mounts for CZ Shadow 2 Kadet.

The vz. 61 Skorpion has a different solution. Its red dot mount comes with a Picatinny or M-LOK interface underneath. You choose the interface when you order.

Footprints for CZ mounts

Every CZ model family has mounts for several red dot footprints. The title of each mount names the footprints it accepts. The Shadow 2, P-10, TS 2 and CZ 75 families have the widest choice. For them, you find mounts for Shield RMSc, Trijicon RMR, Leupold DPP, Docter, C-More RTS and Holosun K-series. The choice for the P-07, P-09 and Kadet models is smaller.

Multi-footprint mounts use a type letter with a list in brackets:

• Toni System type A: Shield RMSc, Leupold DPP and Docter.
• Toni System type B: Trijicon RMR and C-More RTS.
• EGW type S: Shield RMSc, Leupold DPP and Holosun K-series.
• Outer Impact type C: Trijicon RMR, C-More RTS and Docter.
• Eemann Tech type V1: Shield RMSc and Docter.

Single-footprint mounts name only the footprint, for example "Trijicon RMR footprint".

Aluminium or steel

Mounts from EGW and Outer Impact (USA) and Toni System (Italy) are machined from aluminium. Zendl and KMR in the Czech Republic and Eemann Tech machine their CZ mounts from steel. Steel mounts are heavier than aluminium mounts. Shield Sights in the United Kingdom also makes mounts for the Shadow 2, SP-01 Shadow, P-07, P-09 and P-10.

Optics Ready CZ pistols

The Shadow 2 Optics Ready and the P-10 Optics Ready models have a factory optic cut. They do not take the mounts on this page. For them, choose an optic plate for your red dot footprint. See Optics ready plates for CZ models.

What happens to the rear sight

The mount takes the place of the rear sight. You then aim with the red dot only. Keep the original rear sight. Because the mount needs no permanent modifications, you can refit the rear sight later. For new iron sights on your CZ, see Sights for CZ models.

Frequently asked questions

Can I put a red dot on my CZ without an optic cut?

Yes. The mount goes into the rear sight dovetail in place of the rear sight. No milling and no permanent changes, so you can put the rear sight back at any time.

Can I install the mount at home?

Yes, if you have a sight pusher or a punch.

1. Drift the rear sight out of the dovetail.
2. Push the mount into the dovetail and tighten it.
3. Screw the red dot onto the mount with a drop of threadlocker on each screw.

Which red dots will fit?

It depends on the mount you choose. Every mount takes one footprint or a group of footprints. For CZ we have mounts for the Trijicon RMR, Shield RMSc, Holosun K-series, Leupold DPP, Docter and C-More RTS footprints.

Find the footprint of your red dot in its specifications and take the mount that names it.

I have a CZ 75 SP-01. Which mount do I need?

It depends on the variant. The standard 75 SP-01 takes the mounts for the CZ 75B, P-01 and SP-01. The 75 SP-01 Shadow takes the Shadow 2 mounts.

My P-10 C is Optics Ready. Will these mounts fit?

No. A pistol with a factory optic cut takes an optic plate, not a mount. See Optics ready plates for CZ models.
