Sights for Springfield models

This collection contains iron sights for Springfield pistols. Many of them also fit HS Produkt pistols, because HS Produkt makes the XD family for Springfield. The title of each product names both brands.

Sights by Springfield model

• XD and XDM without optic cut: LPA adjustable sights, fiber optic sights, tritium sights and a single tritium front sight. They also fit the HS Produkt XDM, HS-9 and SF19. See Sights for Springfield XD and Sights for Springfield XDM.
• XDS: sights in blank, fiber optic or tritium, shared with the HS Produkt S-Line. See Sights for Springfield XDS.
• Echelon, XD OSP and XDM OSP: co-witness sights and low sights. They also fit the HS Produkt Echelon, SF19 RDR and XDM OSP. They are not for classic variants without optic cut. See Sights for Springfield Echelon, Sights for Springfield XD OSP and Sights for Springfield XDM OSP.
• Hellcat OSP: co-witness sights in blank or fiber optic and sights with tritium. They also fit the HS Produkt H11 OR. See Sights for Springfield Hellcat OSP.

Co-witness or low sights

Co-witness sights are tall. You can see them through the window of a red dot mounted on the slide. Low sights are for shooting with iron sights only.

Sight picture

The end of each title names the sight picture. Fiber optic is bright in daylight. Tritium glows in the dark. Luminescent dots charge in light and glow for a while. White dots and white lines give contrast without glowing. Blank sights have a plain grooved surface.

A title with "front sight" or "rear sight" means a single part. Most other sights are complete sets of front and rear sight.

Installation

Most sights sit in a dovetail. You drift the old sight out and the new one in with a sight pusher or a punch. See Installation tools.

Can I change the sights on my Springfield at home?

Yes, with a sight pusher or a punch. Drift the old sight out of the dovetail and push the new one in. If you do not have the tool, a gunsmith can do it for you. See Installation tools.

Which sights should I choose for my Springfield?

It depends on how you shoot:

• You use a red dot: co-witness sights. They are tall enough to see through the red dot window.
• You shoot with iron sights only: low sights or standard sights.
• You want to zero for your ammunition or shoot competition: adjustable sights. You set windage and elevation with screws.
• You shoot in poor light: tritium. It glows in the dark without charging.
• You shoot in daylight, at the range or in competition: fiber optic.

Do OSP sights fit my XDM without optic cut?

No. The sights for the Echelon, XD OSP and XDM OSP are only for the optic cut variants. Take the sights for the XD and XDM.

Do Springfield sights fit my HS Produkt?

Yes. The XD and XDM sights also fit the HS Produkt XDM, HS-9 and SF19.
