This collection contains optic plates, also called MOS adapter plates, for Glock pistols with the factory MOS optic cut. MOS stands for Modular Optic System. You also find direct-fit red dots that mount on the MOS cut without a plate. The plate goes into the MOS cut and connects it to the footprint of your red dot.
Three MOS cuts
Glock uses different MOS cuts on different slides. A plate fits only the cut it is made for:
Footprints for the MOS cut (Gen 4 and Gen 5)
For the full-size and compact MOS cut, plates exist for almost every common pistol footprint:
- Single footprints: Trijicon RMR, Shield RMSc, Holosun K-series, Leupold DPP, Docter, C-More RTS, Aimpoint Acro, Holosun 509T and Holosun EPS.
- Toni System type A: Shield RMSc, Leupold DPP and Docter.
- Toni System type B: Trijicon RMR and C-More RTS.
- A steel plate for both Shield RMSc and Holosun K-series.
Footprints for the Gen 6 MOS
Aluminium plates for the Gen 6 MOS interface take five footprints. These are Trijicon RMR, Shield RMSc, Holosun K-series, Leupold DPP and Aimpoint Acro. The Holosun K-series plate for Gen 6 fits the ORS slide. It does not fit the Gen 6 SLIM slide variant. It takes the Holosun EPS, EPS Carry, SCS Carry, 407K and 507K.
Steel or aluminium plates
KMR in the Czech Republic and Eemann Tech make steel plates. 2BME in Poland and Toni System in Italy make aluminium plates. Steel plates are heavier. Both fit the MOS cut in the same way.
Direct-fit red dots for Glock MOS
Some red dots fit the Glock MOS cut without any plate:
- Holosun SCS MOS.
- Vector Optics Frenzy 1x16x21 for Glock MOS.
- Osight SE MOS, an enclosed red dot. It fits full-size MOS slides of Gen 4 and Gen 5. Examples are the G17, G19, G19X, G20, G21, G22, G23, G26, G34 and G47. It does not fit the Glock 43X and 48 MOS or Gen 6 MOS slides.
Installation
Remove the factory cover plate from the MOS cut. Screw the optic plate into its place, then screw the red dot onto the plate. No milling is needed and you can do it yourself. Threadlocker on the screws is recommended.

Frequently asked questions
Can I install an optic plate on my Glock MOS at home?
Yes. You need no gunsmith and no milling.
- Remove the cover plate from the MOS cut.
- Screw the optic plate into the cut.
- Screw the red dot onto the plate.
Put a drop of threadlocker on every screw.
Which red dots will fit my Glock MOS?
It depends on the plate you choose. Every plate takes one footprint or a group of footprints. For Glock MOS pistols we have plates for the Trijicon RMR, Shield RMSc, Holosun K-series, Leupold DPP, Docter, C-More RTS, Aimpoint Acro and Holosun 509T footprints.
Choose your red dot first and find its footprint in the specifications. Then take the plate with the same footprint.
Which plate fits my Glock 19 MOS?
Any plate for the full-size MOS cut with the footprint of your red dot. The G17, G19, G26, G34 and other MOS models share the same cut.
I have a Gen 6. Do the normal MOS plates fit?
No. The Gen 6 has its own MOS interface. Choose a plate with Gen 6 in its title.
Which plate fits my Glock 43X MOS or 48 MOS?
The plate for the 43X MOS and 48 MOS, for the Holosun K-series footprint. Full-size MOS plates do not fit the slim slides.
