Red dot mounts for Beretta models

This collection contains red dot mounts for Beretta pistols and shotguns without a factory optic cut. Most mounts replace the rear sight. For the 92X Performance, frame mounts are also available. You need no slide milling and no permanent modifications.

Which mount fits which Beretta

• 92, 96, 98, M9A1 and M9A3: one mount family. It fits the 92 models including the 92FS, 92X and 92G. Footprints: Trijicon RMR, Docter, Toni System type A and B, EGW type S. See Red dot mounts for Beretta 92, Red dot mounts for Beretta 96 and Red dot mounts for Beretta M9A3.
• 92X Performance: rear sight mounts in type A and B for the 92X Performance without optic cut. See Red dot mounts for Beretta 92X Performance.
• APX and APX Combat: separate mount families, both in type A and B. The APX mounts fit the APX Tactical, Centurion and Compact. They do not fit Optics Ready models. See Red dot mounts for Beretta APX and Red dot mounts for Beretta APX Combat.
• PX4: one family for the PX4, PX4 Storm, Storm Inox and Storm Special Duty. Toni System type A and B and Outer Impact type C. See Red dot mounts for Beretta PX4.

Frame mounts for the 92X Performance

Frame mounts install on the bottom of the frame instead of the slide. The red dot then stays still when the slide cycles. They fit the 92X Performance, including the Open Division variant. Three versions exist:

• For the Trijicon RMR footprint.
• Type H for Shield RMSc, C-More RTS, Docter and Leupold DPP.
• For the C-More SR, ASR, ASRS and CSR red dots.

Footprints

Toni System uses type letters for sets of footprints. Type A fits Shield RMSc, Leupold DPP and Docter. Type B fits Trijicon RMR and C-More RTS.

EGW type S fits Shield RMSc, Leupold DPP and Holosun K-series. Outer Impact type C fits Trijicon RMR, C-More RTS and Docter.

Makers

Most Beretta mounts come from Toni System in Italy. EGW and Outer Impact in the USA add mounts for the 92 family and the PX4. All are machined from aluminium.

Installation

Drift the rear sight out of the dovetail with a sight pusher or a punch. Push the mount into the same dovetail and fix it. Then screw the red dot onto the mount. No slide milling or permanent modifications are needed. See Installation tools.

Frequently asked questions

Can I put a red dot on my Beretta without an optic cut?

Yes. The mount goes into the rear sight dovetail in place of the rear sight. No milling and no permanent changes, so you can put the rear sight back at any time.

Can I install the mount at home?

Yes, if you have a sight pusher or a punch.

1. Drift the rear sight out of the dovetail.
2. Push the mount into the dovetail and tighten it.
3. Screw the red dot onto the mount with a drop of threadlocker on each screw.

Which red dots will fit?

It depends on the mount you choose. Every mount takes one footprint or a group of footprints. For Beretta we have mounts for the Trijicon RMR, Shield RMSc, Holosun K-series, Leupold DPP, Docter, C-More RTS and C-More SR, ASR, CSR footprints.

Find the footprint of your red dot in its specifications and take the mount that names it.

Does the 92 mount fit my M9A1?

Yes. One mount family fits the 92, 96, 98, M9A1 and M9A3.

Rear sight mount or frame mount on the 92X Performance?

A rear sight mount moves with the slide. A frame mount stays still on the frame while the slide cycles. Frame mounts are common in Open Division competition.

My APX RDO is Optics Ready. Will these mounts fit?

No. A pistol with a factory optic cut takes an optic plate, not a mount. See Optics ready plates for Beretta models.
