Choose by your base
-
Picatinny rail: JK-N rings with a screw nut or a lever, Contessa rings with a screw nut, Davika RSM-01 rings and Davika one-piece QD mounts, also as a cantilever for AR-10 and AR-15 rifles. The JK-N configurator lets you choose height and base.
-
Blaser base: the JK-N configurator for Blaser.
-
CZ 457 and CZ 600 dovetail: rings that clamp directly on the dovetail, without a rail.
Screw nut, lever or QD
Rings with a screw nut stay on the rifle. A lever or a QD mount lets you take the scope off without tools. According to Davika, its QD mounts keep the zero when you mount the scope again.
Ring height
Choose the lowest height at which the objective lens of the scope stays clear of the barrel. Davika gives the height from the center of the ring to the bottom of the mount: its rings come in 30, 34 and 38 mm, its one-piece QD mounts in 34 and 38 mm and the cantilever mounts in 38 mm. The JK-N configurator offers low, medium and high.
Mounting the scope
- Fix the lower ring halves on the base and put the scope in.
- Slide the scope forward or back until you see the full image in your shooting position.
- Level the reticle. See Bubble levels for rifle scope.
- Tighten the ring screws evenly, in turns, to the torque given by the maker. Davika gives max 5 Nm for the clamping plate and max 3 Nm for the ring screws.
For all rings by diameter, see Scope rings by diameter.
Frequently asked questions
Do these rings fit my scope?
Yes, if your scope has a 30 mm main tube. The ring diameter must be exactly the same as the tube diameter. You find it in the specifications of the scope.
Can I mount the scope myself?
Yes. Fix the rings, set the eye relief, level the reticle and tighten the screws evenly to the torque given by the maker.
Can I take the scope off and keep the zero?
Yes, with the Davika QD mounts. According to Davika, they return to the same position when you mount them again. Check your zero after you refit the scope.
