Optics ready plates for CZ models

(49 products)

This collection contains optic plates, also called optics ready plates, for CZ pistols with a factory optic cut. CZ offers two Optics Ready families: the Shadow 2 Optics Ready and the P-10 Optics Ready. The plate goes into the optic cut and connects it to the footprint of your red dot. You also find direct-fit red dots that need no plate, and spare screws.

Shadow 2 Optics Ready or P-10 Optics Ready

The two families have different optic cuts. A Shadow 2 plate does not fit a P-10, and the other way round:

Footprints for the Shadow 2 Optics Ready

The Shadow 2 Optics Ready has the widest choice of plates. Single-footprint plates exist for Trijicon RMR, Shield RMSc, Docter, Leupold DPP and Holosun K-series. Further plates take the C-More RTS, Aimpoint Acro, Aimpoint A-CUT and Holosun 509T. Multi-footprint plates cover several red dots at once:

  • Toni System type A: Shield RMSc, Leupold DPP and Docter.
  • Toni System type E: C-More RTS and Vortex Razor.
  • Outer Impact type C: Trijicon RMR, C-More RTS and Docter.
  • Eemann Tech type D: Docter and Sig Romeo1.
  • CZ factory plate: Shield RMSc and Holosun K-series.

Footprints for the P-10 Optics Ready

For the P-10 Optics Ready, plates exist for Trijicon RMR, Shield RMSc, Docter, Leupold DPP and Holosun K-series. Further plates take the C-More RTS, Aimpoint Acro, Vortex Razor and Holosun 509T. CZ also makes a factory plate for the Shield RMSc and Holosun K-series footprints.

Step by step

  1. Check if your CZ belongs to the Shadow 2 Optics Ready or the P-10 Optics Ready family.
  2. Find the footprint of your red dot.
  3. Choose a plate for your family that names this footprint.
  4. Decide if you want an integrated rear sight (Shadow 2 only).

Plates with an integrated rear sight

For the Shadow 2 Optics Ready, Impact Machine makes steel plates with a built-in rear sight. On most of them the rear sight sits behind the red dot. One version has the rear sight in front of the red dot. Both let you co-witness: you see the iron sights through the red dot window. Versions exist for the Trijicon RMR footprint and as type S for Shield RMSc, Leupold DPP and Holosun K-series.

Factory or aftermarket plate

CZ makes its own plates from steel in the Czech Republic. Evo Arms in the Czech Republic and Eemann Tech also use steel. 2BME in Poland, Toni System in Italy and Outer Impact in the USA use aluminium. Steel plates are heavier. All of them fit the factory optic cut in the same way.

Direct-fit red dots and spare screws

Some red dots fit the CZ optic cut without a plate. The Holosun SCS P-10 fits the P-10 Optics Ready directly. The Vector Optics Frenzy 1x20x24 fits the Shadow 2 Optics Ready directly. Screws are normally included with the plate. If you lose them, a set of spare screws for CZ Optics Ready plates is available. Their recommended torque is 1.3 Nm.

Frequently asked questions

Can I install an optic plate on my CZ at home?

Yes. You need no gunsmith and no milling.

  1. Remove the cover plate from the optic cut.
  2. Screw the optic plate into the cut.
  3. Screw the red dot onto the plate.

Put a drop of threadlocker on every screw.

Which red dots will fit my CZ?

It depends on the plate you choose. Every plate takes one footprint or a group of footprints. For CZ pistols we have plates for the Trijicon RMR, Shield RMSc, Holosun K-series, Leupold DPP, Docter, C-More RTS, Aimpoint Acro, Holosun 509T, Aimpoint A-CUT, Vortex Razor and Sig Romeo1 footprints.

Choose your red dot first and find its footprint in the specifications. Then take the plate with the same footprint.

Which plate do I need for my CZ?

  1. Find your model and variant, for example Shadow 2 Optics Ready or P-10 C Optics Ready.
  2. Find the footprint of your red dot.
  3. Choose the plate for your model with the same footprint.

Does a P-10 plate fit my P-10C Ported?

Yes. The P-10C Ported takes the same plates as the other P-10 Optics Ready models.

Factory CZ plate or a plate from another maker?

Both go into the same optic cut. CZ plates are steel. Other makers add more footprints, for example Aimpoint A-CUT or Vortex Razor, and plates with an integrated rear sight.
