Which sights to choose

• You want to zero for your ammunition or shoot competition: adjustable sights. You set windage and elevation with screws.

The sights in detail

• Adjustable sights from LPA, in fiber optic, luminescent dots and white dots. You set windage and elevation with screws, so you can zero them for your ammunition.
• Other sight sets from Night Fision, in tritium.

How to zero adjustable sights

Shoot a group at a fixed distance. Move the rear sight in the direction you want the point of impact to move: to the right to move hits to the right, up to move hits up. Turn the screw a few clicks at a time and shoot again.

Fit

• They are not for Optics Ready variants.
• They also fit HK VP40, HK P30 and HK45 models.

Sight picture

Fiber optic collects daylight and shines brightly at the range and in competition. Tritium glows in the dark without charging. Luminescent dots charge in light and glow for a while in the dark. White dots give contrast without glowing.

Installation

Most pistol sights sit in a dovetail. You drift the old sight out and the new one in with a sight pusher or a punch. See Installation tools.
