Adapters
(18 products)This collection contains adapters that connect optics and devices to a different mounting interface. You find adapters for thermal imaging and night vision devices on Blaser-type mounts. You also find reductions between Picatinny, Arca Swiss, UIT (Anschutz) and tripod screws. Each adapter connects one specific interface to another. To choose the right one, you need to know both sides: what you mount, and where you mount it.
Adapters for thermal imaging and night vision devices
Thermal and night vision devices often have their own mounting screws. These adapters let you mount such a device on a Blaser-type mount. Each adapter is made for specific device models. Examples in this collection:
- Hikmicro Thunder TQ50CR 2.0, PQ 50L and TQ 50
- InfiRay Geni GL 35L and GH 50R, Rico RL 42 and RH 50, PFN 640+ and PS II ZZr
- Pixfra Chiron PFI-C450
- Pulsar Trail 2
- Thermtec Vidar 660
- PARD 008 S-LRF (night vision)
Some device models share the same screw spacing, so one adapter fits several of them. The product page names the screw spacing where it matters. On some adapters, you can set the device in three positions for better shooting comfort. See Adapters for thermal imaging devices and Adapters for night vision.
Why a Blaser-type mount
The Blaser mount system was made to be removed and refitted by hand. A device on a Blaser-type mount can come off the rifle and go back on without new tools. This lets you change between a day scope and a thermal or night vision device on one rifle. The adapters in this collection connect the device to such a mount.
How the Blaser adapters are made
The JK-N adapters for Blaser-type mounts are machined from stainless steel in the Czech Republic. The whole surface has a black coating. Each adapter is fixed to the mount with a pair of screws. It is secured against movement both radially and axially. The package includes the hardware to fix the adapter to the mount and the device to the adapter.
You can also install these adapters on a Picatinny rail. For that, you also need the JK-N adapter base, available as a short or a long base. See Blaser adapters.
Picatinny adapters
A Picatinny adapter for the Blaser base puts a Picatinny rail on a rifle with a Blaser-type interface. You can then use Picatinny rings, red dots and devices. The JK-N Picatinny mount fits Blaser-type interfaces with 74 mm spacing. It attaches with two rotary clamps. You can adjust the clamping force. Two lugs, machined as one piece with the base, lock it axially. See Picatinny adapters.
Swarovski SR rail
Some Swarovski scopes have the SR rail instead of a round tube for rings. The rail is part of the scope, so you need no rings. The Swarovski SR adapter connects such a scope directly to a Blaser base. This keeps the scope low and saves the weight of rings. See Swarovski adapters.
Night vision devices
For night vision, the collection has an adapter for the PARD 008 S-LRF on a Blaser-type mount. It is made the same way as the thermal adapters. See Adapters for night vision.
Arca Swiss adapters
Arca Swiss is a common dovetail standard for tripod heads and shooting rests. The Tactical Evo adapters in this collection connect:
- Arca Swiss to Picatinny
- Arca Swiss to Arca Swiss
- Arca Swiss to tripod screws
The Arca Swiss to Picatinny reduction connects a Picatinny rail to a tripod with an Arca Swiss clamp. You fix it on the Picatinny rail of your rifle. This gives a stable rest when you shoot kneeling or standing. It comes in two sizes: 40 mm (86 g) and 60 mm (104 g). The larger Arca Swiss to Picatinny adapter measures 60 x 55 x 24 mm and weighs 175 g. See Arca Swiss adapters.
Tripod adapters
Tripod reductions connect a Picatinny rail or an Arca Swiss rail to a standard tripod. They fit both 1/4" and 3/8" tripod screws. This lets you use a camera tripod or a spotting scope tripod as a shooting rest or for a device. A Picatinny to tripod reduction also fits devices with a Picatinny mount. You can set a thermal device on a tripod this way. See Tripod adapters.
UIT (Anschutz) rail
Target rifles from Anschutz and other makers often have a UIT rail in the stock. Slings and hand stops mount on this rail. The UIT to Picatinny reduction holds Picatinny accessories on a UIT rail, such as a bipod or a grip. It comes in three lengths: 55 mm with 2 fixing screws, 100 mm with 3 screws and 200 mm with 4 screws. It is made of AW 6082 T6 aluminium. See Anschutz [UIT] adapters.
How to choose an adapter
- Name what you want to mount: a thermal device, a night vision device, a scope, a bipod or the rifle itself.
- Name where you want to mount it: a Blaser-type mount, a Picatinny rail, an Arca Swiss clamp, a UIT rail or a tripod.
- Choose the adapter whose title names both sides.
- For thermal and night vision devices, check that your exact device model is named.
- For a Blaser adapter on a Picatinny rail, add the JK-N adapter base to your order.
Materials
The Tactical Evo reductions are made of dural (an aluminium alloy) in the Czech Republic. They come fully assembled and ready for use. The JK-N adapters are made of steel.
Frequently asked questions
Which adapter fits my thermal device?
Find the exact model of your device, for example Hikmicro Thunder TQ50CR 2.0. Then choose the adapter that names this model in its title. If your model is not listed, compare the screw spacing of your device with the spacing on the product page.
Can I use a Blaser adapter on a Picatinny rail?
Yes, with the JK-N adapter base. The base connects the adapter to the Picatinny rail. It is available in a short and a long version.
Which tripod screws do the tripod adapters fit?
Both 1/4" and 3/8" tripod screws.
